'The Age of Anxiety' edited by Parish and Parker
It claims that conspiracy theorising may be closely linked with paranoia, although it is not sufficient to dismiss it as talk of the crazed!
Conspiracy is described as "Paranoia with reason" by George Marcus (1999).
"we desperately seek knowledge but do so in the absence of compass".
To be honest, the book isn't the greatest of helps, but it does add to our academic source list which is a plus. But i will try and link it to jack the ripper tomorrow, i just thought i would fill you in...
